As A part of Ottawa’s New Affordability Package deal, the Interim Dental Care Plan Pays As much as $650 Per Baby

Households with younger youngsters are entitled to checks value as much as $650 per baby beneath an interim model of the Liberal authorities’s new dental care plan, which it agreed to implement beneath a parliamentary settlement with the NDP.

Two sources conversant in the announcement mentioned the unique 2022 program will apply to households with youngsters beneath the age of 12. This system is income-tested.

Households with out current dental insurance coverage and incomes beneath $70,000 are eligible for checks of $650 per baby per 12 months. The quantity drops to $390 if household earnings is between $70,000 and $80,000 and to $260 for households with earnings between $80,000 and $90,000. Households incomes greater than $90,000 are usually not eligible for this system.
