Authorities of Canada Declares Appointments to the Canadian Institutes of Well being Analysis Governing Council

The Authorities of Canada is dedicated to appointing extremely certified candidates to greatest serve the pursuits of Canadians.

At the moment, the Honourable Jean-Yves Duclos, Minister of Well being, introduced three appointments and one reappointment to the Canadian Institutes of Well being Analysis (CIHR) Governing Council.

Dr. Marie-Josée Hébert is appointed because the Chairperson of CIHR Governing Council. She is a nephrologist-transplant doctor, a professor within the School of Medication at Université de Montréal and a researcher who holds the Shire Chair in Renal Transplantation and Regeneration. She is co-director of the Canadian Donation and Transplantation Analysis Program. As a researcher, she has based and led main interdisciplinary and cross-sector analysis teams.
