Aspen Dental, a dental company in the U.S. with over a thousand offices, has been hit with a major cyber attack. They are still seeing patients but scheduling has become an issue since the attack.
All locations were knocked offline during the cyber attack and patients have been frustrated with the lack of communication on whether their data was compromised.
In a press release, Aspen Dental shared, “The cybersecurity incident temporarily impacted our ability to access scheduling systems, phone systems, and other business applications. We are still working to resolve all the issues related to the incident, but we are open and seeing patients largely as normal.”
